Join Professional Biologist Zac Wulf Gillrie for a FREE beginner-friendly guided nature walk and photo walk exploring the wildlife and natural environments of Calgary's Bow River corridor. Participants will learn how to slow down, observe their surroundings, and develop a “search image” for finding wildlife by recognizing movement, sounds, tracks, signs, habitat features, and other clues.

Through simple guided observation exercises, participants will practice the same basic skills biologists use to locate and observe wildlife in the field. No previous wildlife or naturalist experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to slow down, look closely, and discover what is happening in the natural world around them.
